The ITV2 dating show will return on Monday (03.06.19), hosted by Caroline Flack, with 12 contestants already confirmed for the launch episode, but at least half a dozen more Islanders are set to head into the Majorcan paradise throughout the series.

An insider said: "The current line up isn't going to stay the same for long - and the newbies are super-hot.

"They are being called 'bombshell arrivals' and viewers will see why when they see them."

The mystery Islanders are said to be staying "in a secret location" ahead of their appearances in the villa.

The insider added to The Sun Online: "They are currently holed up in a secret location and will make their appearances as the series goes on.

"It's going to make amazing TV and it'll be a real twist for those who start the show."

Among this year's contestants are boxing champion Tyson Fury's younger brother Tommy Fury, 20, who is also a boxer, but he prefers to be seen as his "own man" rather than the sibling of a famous fighter.

He said: "I'm my own man and I've said it throughout my whole boxing career.

"At the end of the day, if I see someone in there that I like that I feel I could have a connection with, I'll try and pursue that without being an idiot to the other islanders.

"I'll do the right thing at the right time and make my opinions known."

'Strictly Come Dancing' star AJ Pritchard's brother Curtis Pritchard is among the new Islanders.

He is also a dancer but was in the news in the new year after thugs beat him and AJ up in a nightclub.

Speaking about entering the villa, Curtis said: "I'm going to be me. I don't have to act like anything, I don't have to teach anyone how to dance, like my normal job! I can just be myself and have fun."

The 12 contestants are made up of seven men and five women.

'Love Island' returns on Monday, airing on ITV2 at 9pm.
