The brunette model was in two minds about who to partner up with in tonight's (19.07.19) recoupling after the firefighter declared he still had feelings for her - even though he ditched her for Joanna Chimonides a few weeks ago while she was away in Casa Amor - but ultimately decided to choose the rugby player because he makes her happy.

Speaking to Greg after the recoupling, Amber said: "It was really hard ... but if I'm genuinely honest I wouldn't accept it on the outside so why would I accept it in here."

Although Michael was devastated that Amber didn't pick him, he's told his friend Anton Danyluk that he's not worried because the recoupling "doesn't mean anything."

He said: "I knew it was going to happen ... It doesn't mean anything the fact they're coupled up. I'm not going to sit back and say I don't have feelings for Amber when I do.

"I might have f**ked things up on the outside [with Joanna] and I might have f**ked things on the inside [with Amber] but I got everything off my chest."

Amber was left heartbroken a few weeks ago when she came back from Casa Amor to find out that Michael had dumped her in order to make a go of things with Joanna.

He's continuously claimed he has no feelings for Amber and could only see a future with Joanna, but refused to leave the villa when the social media influencer was kicked out earlier this week - even though he said he'd "found" what he was looking for in her.

Hours after Joanna left, Michael pulled Amber aside and told her he still liked her.

But it coincidentally came after she returned from a date with new boy Greg.
