Love Island's Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham are planning to get married next year.

The couple - who were crowned the winners of the reality TV show earlier this week - have only known each other eight weeks but have already decided that they'll walk down the aisle in 2019 because they "know" they are meant for each other.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the pen salesman said: "We're getting married next year, 100 per cent. Like my mum said to me so many times, 'When you know about someone, you just know.' And now I know what she's talking about."

The pair refused to join the famous 'Do Bits Society' - a group, made up by islander Wes Nelson, that contestants would join if they did more than kiss with their partner - while they were on screen out of respect for Dani's father Danny Dyer.

But the 21-year-old barmaid has hinted that she's planning to keep it that way until after they've got married because sex doesn't keep a "relationship going."

She said: "My nan and gramps didn't have sex until they were married.

"I do not think sex keeps a relationship going."

Meanwhile, Dani's dad Danny gave Jack his seal of approval and hailed him a "proper geezer" when he appeared on the ITV2 reality show on Sunday (29.07.18) evening via a surprise video call to the couple.

Danny added: "Look at him, look at him. Look at his little face. Do you know what Jack, listen. Proper geezer, gotta say. I'll tell you what I love about you, I love the fact you got a little Derby. You got so much charisma. Takes a brave man to bowl into that gaff, them all 'abbed up', proper geezer. Honestly mate, we're so over the moon."

However, he has warned his daughter to focus on her own career without Jack.

He said: "There are going to be some very exciting projects coming up for her.

"They have to live their own lives, I don't think they should come out as a double act."
