Mario Falcone claims he'll always "care" about Lucy Mecklenburgh.
'The Only Way is Essex' star - who split from the brunette beauty earlier this year after he cheated on her - admits he'll be there to pick up the pieces and will offer her a supportive hand if she ever splits with her new boyfriend Max George.
In an interview with new! magazine, he said: "Of course [I'd be there]. I doubt she'd come to me, but I'd still care.
"As long as she's happy then I'm happy for her. The one thing I've always said is if I can't be the person to put a smile on Lucy's face, then I hope she finds someone who can. So if he [Max] is that person then I wish him all the luck in the world."
The lothario is confident The Wanted hunk - who cheated on his ex-girlfriend Michelle Keegan last year - will treat the boutique owner with respect and is hopeful that he's learnt from his mistakes.
He explained: "I've made my mistakes. [Max] did what he did with Michelle and I did what I did with Lucy. You learn from these mistakes and I'm sure he won't let another beautiful girl slip through his fingers. I'm sure he will treat her well."
