Axed 'X Factor' wannabe Melanie McCabe hopes this year's final will see Sam Bailey named winner.

The brunette beauty - who appeared on the show for a fourth time this year and made it to the Judges' Houses stage of the competition - thinks the prison guard warbler has everything she needs to take the crown.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I kind of feel Sam Bailey is going to win. I think she's a great singer. I feel she will win because everyone is pushing her to win."

Melanie - who was in Nicole Scherzinger's Girls category this year - thinks Tamera Foster, who forgot her words twice during the live shows, does a great job onstage, but believes she'd have been able to remember the lyrics to her songs had Nicole picked her instead of the 16-year-old singer.

She explained: "I think she performs really well ... Obviously I know she forgot her words a few times but sometimes people aren't good at learning words. I'm good at learning words - I'm just able to. There is such a big pressure on her to sing in front of millions of people every week."

Melanie is adamant she won't audition for the show again after previously alleging she only went on 'The X Factor' this year because show bosses told her it would be "her year".

Quizzed if she'd try again, she said: "Definitely not. I'm really glad I did 'The X Factor' this year because it pushed me a lot further in my career but I don't think I could do it again. Well, I definitely won't do it again, because I think I've run my course on it at this stage."

Melanie is appearing in an advert to promote 'Mrs. Brown's Boys' for Universal's newly launched Christmas gifting campaign, 'DVD. Everyone's Christmas Favourite.'

Her advert will air during 'The X Factor' live show on Saturday (07.12.13). Watch a sneak peek by visiting http://youtu.be/OdAgYldM1Cw.
