Michael Le Vell has been offered a huge deal to appear on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here'.

The 48-year-old actor - who plays Kevin Webster in 'Coronation Street' - has reportedly built up hefty legal bills since battling to clear his name following allegations of child sex offences, all of which he was found not guilty of earlier this week, but ITV bosses are keen to help pay off those debts for him if he appears on the reality show later this year.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "He would be rewarded with a six-figure fee which would help him out enormously.

"He's also seen as a great candidate for the show and would be a tremendous asset to it. Those who know him see him as an easy-going lad, one of the boys, and with his love of Australia, he could jump at the chance of joining up.

"Michael would relish the chance to show the public what he is really like."

The star was found not guilty of five counts of rape, three of indecent assault, two counts of sexual activity with a child, and two of causing a child to engage in sexual activity, at Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday (10.09.13).

However, 'Coronation Street' fans will have to wait until at least February to see Michael - who was temporarily suspended from the soap while legal proceedings were ongoing - grace the cobbles again as storylines have already been penned up until early next year.
