The 44-year-old pop star was runner up to Busted star Matt Willis on the regular version of the jungle-based reality show back in 2006 and will reportedly reunite with other famous faces from the long-running series when it returns to screens next year from a special edition in South Africa next year.

A source said: “Myleene is going back on the show and could not be more excited. She joined her co-stars in hiding over the past week and is preparing to fly off to begin filming. Myleene is a huge 'I’m A Celebrity' fan and jumped at the chance of going back to do some bushtucker trials."

The insider went on to explain that the former Hear'Say singer - who has children Ava, 15, and Hero, 11, with ex-husband Graham Quinn - wants to make her family "proud" with the move, but teased that fans will have to "wait and see" if her famous white bikini also makes a return to the show.

The source told The Sun newspaper's TVBiz Column: "She wants to make her family proud and can’t wait for her kids to see her roughing it. Fans will have to wait and see whether she’s packed a white bikini though."

Myleene joins a line up of fellow campmates from over the years such as 'Coronation Street' actor Andy Whyment - who was runner-up on the regular version of the show in Australia back in 2019 - as well as Diversity star Jordan Banjo, who finished in eighth place back in 2016.

Other stars linked to the spin-off show include, ex-'Made in Chelsea' star Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo - who was crowned Queen of the Jungle back in 2017 - and former royal butler Paul Burrell.

Boxer Amir Khan and former 'EastEnders' actor Dean Gaffney could also take part in the programme.

But former 'Gogglebox' star Scarlett Moffatt - who was crowned Queen of the Jungle in the 16th series in 2016 -

recently explained why she is not interested in taking part in the 'I'm A Celebrity' all-stars show.

She told BANG Showbiz: "I was thinking about this because it has come to

my attention."

"I just think I wouldn’t want to then tarnish that experience by going in again and maybe it not living up to

expectations."
