Nathan Morris has joined the cast of panto 'Sleeping Beauty' after his 'Hollyoaks' was confirmed last night (30.08.18).

The actor bowed out of the fictional Chester village as Milo Entwistle after his alter-ego survived a car landing on him, but the Cunninghams found out he was responsible for the deaths of Helen (Kathryn George) and Gordon Cunningham (Bernard Latham) back in 2004.

But Nathan has wasted no time in finding new work, after he was cast in Rochdale-based panto 'Sleeping Beauty' as Prince Percy, alongside The Chase's Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan, Benidorm's Hannah Hobley and comic Ben Sherlock.

A tweet on the AB Productions Twitter account read: "We're delighted to announce that Hollyoaks favourite NATHAN MORRIS @NathanMorris_1 is joining the cast of Sleeping Beauty @GFTheatre this Christmas as our perfect Prince Percy! (sic)"

Nathan took to his Twitter account last night to wish his "misunderstood little nutter" alter-ego a fond farewell, and he thanked fans for their support.

He tweeted: "See ya later #MysteriousMilo, you misunderstood little nutter (sic)"

Last month, Nathan joked he is planning to get a 'Hollyoaks' tattoo, like Milo, who has an inking on his back.

He quipped: "I have a small dragon tattoo on my arm, I do want more, but I can never decide on what to have.

"Maybe I'll get a big H for 'Hollyoaks' on my back. I'll be branded for life then.

"Milo's tattoo takes around an hour to put on."

Nathan returned to 'Oaks' in dramatic scenes last month, in which Milo confronted Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) on a beach and demanded she leave Dirk Savage (David Kennedy).

The explosive scenes called for Nathan to go into the freezing cold sea numerous times - but he couldn't hear what the director was saying from the ocean.

He added: "It was freezing and I was so far out, I couldn't really hear what the director and cameraman were shouting at me.

"I probably just look a bit confused!"
