The American television network has acquired the rights for a new series based on the recent 'Paddington' movies as well as another series based on 'The LEGO Movie'.

Ben Whishaw - who leant his voice to the lovable character for the movies - is set to voice Paddington Bear once again for the show 'Paddington'. It will follow the story of the famous bear as he adventures in London with the Brown family and their friends

'LEGO City' will feature the original characters from 'The LEGO Movie' as they fight to save the world and stop a master criminal from ruining the world as we know it.

'Paddington' will be jointly produced by Heyday Films and StudioCanal, with Adam Shaw as showrunner. Jon Foster and James Lamont will pen the script whilst David Heyman, Karen Davidsen and Simon Quinn are set to produce. Rosie Alison has been listed as executive producer whilst Rob Silva is named as a co-producer, The Wrap reports.

Meanwhile, 'LEGO City' - created and produced by LEGO Group - will "depict the funny, smart, and dynamic slices of life within the sprawling and diverse LEGO City community. [It will follow] the intertwining paths of the city's everyday heroes as they work together to stop a mysterious master criminal who begins to wreak havoc on their town."
