The 35-year-old pop star is best known as a member of US boyband The Jonas Brothers with younger brothers Joe, 33, and 30-year-old Nick and revealed that he and his wife Danielle both enjoy the annual Channel 4 competition, which sees amateur bakers battle it out to impress Dame Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood.

He told Metro.co.uk: "I’m just gonna say it, 'The Great British Bake Off' is spectacular. Me and my wife Danielle, we’re obsessed, and we love that we can watch it now here. It makes you feel like you’re getting ready for Christmas! It’s fantastic!"

Meanwhile, Nick was asked about his particular favourite piece of British television and remarked that a standout for him was 2020 ITV1 drama 'Quiz', which starred Michael Sheen and explored the case of real-life army major Charles Ingham, who set out to cheat his way to the top prize on game show 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' with a coughing accomplice and was caught shortly before he could claim his £1 million prize money.

He said: "I know it’s a few years old but I loved 'Quiz', that show was amazing!"

And their fellow former Disney Channel star Joe remarked that while "all British reality television" is enjoyable, he particularly enjoyed the BBC comedy 'This Country', which starred The Masked Singer' contestant Daisy May Cooper and her younger brother Charlie Cooper as a pair of cousins living in the Cotswolds, and declared that the programme is probably in his "top three comedy shows" of all time.

He said: "All the trashy British reality TV is always fun! This Country is probably one of my top three best comedy shows ever!"
