The 48-year-old singer - who has Amelia, seven, and four-year-old son Theo with his wife Emily, and kids Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, with former spouse Katie Price - has previously insisted there is "no chance" his eldest daughter can sign up for the reality show unless one day it's "based on priests and nuns" delivering sermons.

And while he's still against the teenager, who "100 per cent" wants to head into the villa, becoming an Islander, the 'Mysterious Girl' hitmaker wouldn't have a problem with her taking over from Laura Whitmore as host in the future.

Peter wrote in his latest new! magazine column: "Princess has said she wants to do it but I still haven’t changed my mind about that. Presenting it? Yes. A contestant? Not so sure!"

Back in 2019, Princess asked how he'd feel about her featuring on the series, and he revealed: "She said to me 'Would you ever let me go on 'Love Island'', and I said to her 'When they start doing Love Island based on priests and nuns and they're having their sermons on Sundays you can go on 'Love Island' but until then no chance.'

"I don't know why I'm saying that, well I know why I'm saying that, and I don't mean to be strict like that and they get told everything by their friends anyway. So Junior, he's kind of getting to that stage where he wants to hang out and watch things."

Meanwhile, Peter previously insisted there needs to be a "duty of care" across all television networks and highlighted 'Love Island' as an example following the deaths of former participants Sophie Gradon, 32, and Mike Thalassitis, 26, both of whom took their own lives after appearing on the show.

He said: "There has to be a duty of care across the networks. It's not just one person or one show.

"Look at a guy like Mike Thalassitis, I only met him once or twice, Greek guy, 26 years old, looked in peak condition, good-looking guy, and he went and took his own life because of mental health. Twenty-six years old!"
