Peter Capaldi has injured his knee filming 'Doctor Who'.

The 57-year-old actor had to have keyhole surgery on his meniscus membrane after injuring his joint shooting stunts for the BBC sci-fi show as the Twelfth Doctor.
Capaldi has had to walk with a cane while he recovers, but he has grown quite attached to his walking aid and wants to customise it.
Speaking on the first day of the Doctor Who Festival at London's ExCel Centre on Friday (13.11.15), he revealed: "I had keyhole surgery on the meniscus membrane. It got torn and it doesn't grow back so they had to snip it away to make it all fine. I was worried that it would get worse, because they couldn't do the surgery while we were filming ... But I've become rather drawn to the cane that I had. Obviously I wanted one with a silver fox or a skull on the handle. You go between feeling rather elegant and feeling like a blatant idiot (when using it)."
The injury is exactly the same one Capaldi's predecessor Matt Smith suffered playing the Eleventh Doctor.
He said: "I have the exactly the same injury Matt had. When I first met Matt he was on crutches, and I asked, 'What happened to you?' And he said, 'This show mate.' And it turns out we have exactly the same thing! I think it's something that happens when you run down corridors and suddenly pivot at the end."
Capaldi, showrunner Steven Moffat, writer Mark Gatiss and Missy actress Michelle Gomez will all be attending the Doctor Who Festival this weekend. And Jenna Coleman will be participating in a Q&A when she appears at the event on Saturday (14.11.15).
