The 'One Wish' hitmaker - who took part in 'Celebrity Big Brother' back in January - has been approached to do the revamped ice skating show, among other things, and his management team are currently looking into his schedule to see if he can do it or not.

A representative for the star told The Sun Online: "Big shows have made offers to Ray - ones in the UK. 'Dancing On Ice' did offer him the show, and he's interested in that. He may come back to the UK to do it."

Although the 36-year-old singer is no stranger to reality TV shows, bosses are hoping that he'll cause drama on the ice as he's never stepped foot on the rink before.

A source close of Ray J explained: "Ray has barely been on the ice before so if he did take up their offer, it would make for amazing TV.

"He's absolutely no expert but he'd give the show his best shot!"

The hip-hop star - who infamously starred in a sex tape with the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star which leaked online in 2007 - has already made a name for himself in the UK due to his loose lips while in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house.

Ray J - whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr - had no issues revealing intimate details about his sex life with Kim, who is now married to Kanye West, and how he feels guilty about the feud between his then-fellow housemate Stacy Francis and Whitney Houston just before the iconic singer's death in 2012.

Meanwhile, bosses are determined to keep details of the revamped show under wraps for the time being but Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are set to be the hosts.

The presenting duo - who have become known for their work on ITV daytime show 'This Morning' - fronted the ice skating competition when it first aired 11 years ago.

The news comes after it was recently reported that professional skater Sylvain Longchambon is due to return to the show - after having previously appeared in 2011 and 2013 - to help the celebrity hopefuls stay upright in the rink while twisting and turning to music in front of a panel of tough-talking judges.
