Ricky Rayment has branded Lucy Mecklenburgh a "hypocrite".

The 'Only Way is Essex' star was left fuming after discovering the brunette beauty and co-star Sam Faiers advised his girlfriend Jess Wright to dump him after he recently confessed to cheating on her.

He said: "It's rich coming from them. Lucy and Sam are no angels. Lucy's a hypocrite - she cheated on Mario [Falcone] and he gave her another chance. And Sam's just come out of an engagement [to Joey Essex] because she supposedly went out partying with men."

However, the 22-year-old reality star - who rekindled his romance with the wannabe pop star shortly after the confession - is adamant his romance with Jess will last because he's realised the error of his ways and is confident he won't make the same mistake again.

Speaking to Now magazine, he explained: "When I cheated, Jess and I didn't have the strong connection that we do now. I didn't know if we were just a fling or not. When I joined 'TOWIE' I was 21 and girls just threw themselves at me. I was weak and an idiot.

"I really f***ed up. I'm not proud of it and I hate talking about it. I know I won't do it again - I know what I want from life now."
