Rob Lowe is set to star in new crime drama 'Wild Bill'.

The Hollywood star will take on the role of US police chief Bill Hixton who decides to move to Lincolnshire with his teenage daughter to escape recent painful memories in their lives.
In an announcement from ITV, Hixton is "whip-smart, acerbic and unstoppable" in the six part series.
Rob - who will also be an executive producer on the drama - said: "As an actor, Wild Bill is a larger than life character who's outrageously articulate, has nothing to lose and revels in being an American fish out of water.
"As an executive producer, I'm excited to work with such talented partners and to come back to work in the UK, which I always love."
The series has been created by David Giffiths, who previously wrote 'Collateral Damage' and 'The Hunted', which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tommy Lee Jones respectively.
Meanwhile, Jim Keeble and Dudi Appleton - who both worked on 'Silent Witness' - will write the script and also serve as showrunners.
In a statement, they admitted they penned the series with their leading man already in mind with "Brexit Britain" also at the forefront.
They said: "'Wild Bill' gives us a chance to write about modern Britain and modern crime through unique eyes. We wrote this for Rob Lowe, for his smart-talking, anarchic, soulful voice.
"Displacing Rob in Brexit Britain and specifically in Boston, Lincolnshire allows us to tell stories that are leftfield and unexpected. We wanted to write something that couldn't take place anywhere else, or at any other time."
