The 27-year-old radio star - who appeared on last year's series of the ITV reality show and finished in third place - is keen for the Spandau Ballet musician to follow in his footsteps and experience the programme for himself.

Appearing on 'Good Morning Britain' on Friday (13.11.20), he said: "'Martin Kemp 2021' is what I'm going for. I genuinely do wanna see it.

"To be honest, I don't know - you'd have to ask my dad. But I would love to see him in it.

"It's his 60th next year, and for his 60th birthday, for him to be literally miserable in a jungle - that would be great, please."

Roman joked he only has another couple of days "being relevant" before he gets replaced by the celebrities stepping into the show's new home at Gwyrth Castle in Wales.

He quipped: "Basically I've got two more days until I stop being relevant, before the new cast take over."

And despite his experience in the Australian jungle, he admitted no one has come to him for advice for the upcoming series.

He laughed: "You know what, no one! No one cares about me anymore. I was in it last year, I'm not in it this year.

"But to be honest, the advice I would give to all of them is just enjoy it. It is that thing of being there every moment.

"There's a lot of time where people are spent worrying, 'Am I going home tomorrow? Is this going to be my last day?'

"Sometimes you've got to sit and realise, you're literally on the best show on television. The heritage of this show is incredible, it's 20 years - to have Sir Mo Farah in there, it'll be nice to see him as a character.

"Shane Richie, I'm sure, will provide a lot of entertainment."
