The ex ‘Gogglebox’ star enthused about her time on the Danny Dyer-fronted Channel 4 reality series, which sees celebrities living in a pitch-black bunker for eight days.

The 32-year-old TV personality told OK! magazine: “I feel like a different human being. I feel like I can conquer the world now. I’ve never actually sat down and thought about how privileged I am to have sight.

"I have so much respect for anybody who has lost their sight or is partially sighted because you don’t realise how much you rely on it.”

Scarlett confessed she and the rest of the contestants - which included legendary footballer Paul Gascoigne, The Wanted singer Max George, and former ‘Love Island’ star Chloe Burrows - coped because they “all had each other”.

She said: “We weren’t expecting to get as much out of it as we did in the friendships that we’ve made. I’m not saying that it was all easy or plain sailing, but we all had each other."

The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ winner labelled the quiet moments “the scariest” while filming.

Scarlett said: “What was the scariest is if there was ever a moment of silence.

“That’s why we all got on so much because we just did not stop speaking because it feels extra lonely when you’re in the dark, when there’s nothing to see.”

Scarlett got through the show by taking responsibility that she had signed up for a "bonkers" programme.

She said: “If you sign yourself up for something that crazy, you have to accept responsibility that you signed up for something that is a bit bonkers.

“Even though it was the weirdest holiday I’ve ever had, it sort of was like a holiday friendship.”
