New comedy series Short Poppies has been added to Netflix's roster and will be available to watch from April 3.
All eight episodes of the first season - written by and starring New Zealand comedian and actor Rhys Darby - are to be available, marking its international premiere on the streaming device in the United Kingdom, USA and Canada.
The show follows David Farrier - a journalist who meets some less than ordinary characters in a New Zealand town.
All of these characters are played by Rhys Darby himself, and we quickly discover that David Farrier is anything but boring in the quirky mockumentary.
