The 61-year-old music mogul is preparing to give some of his favourite acts - including Twist & Pulse and Paul Potts - a route back into the big time, offering them money-spinning deals to star in his new Las Vegas live show.

A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "Simon is going all out to make sure his 'Got Talent' residecy at the Luxor Theatre is a huge success. And while he had lined up a load of acts from his American version of the show, Simon knew the power of some of his British acts and wanted to get them involved.

"There had been some questions over whether they could make a go of it because of the travel restrictions around the pandemic, but they’ve had the green light for weeks now."

Simon's ambition will offer former stars of 'Britain's Got Talent' the "opportunity of a lifetime" and many of them are eager to jump at the chance.

The insider explained: "It’s the opportunity of a lifetime for some 'BGT' favourites who are looking at this stint in Vegas as their big break on the world stage."

Simon's live show was initially billed as a 10-week gig. However, according to industry insiders, it's set to be given an extended run in Sin City.

In fact, the show could "go on for years" if it proves to be successful in Las Vegas.

The source added: "They need to gauge the success of the first shows, but Simon’s residency could go on for years."
