Stormzy wants to go on Big Brother

The 'Hide and Seek' singer would love to be a contestant on the fly-on-the-wall show - which is getting rebooted by ITV2 next year - but wants to take part in the "civilian" version, not the celebrity competition.

Stormzy thinks he would prove to be a very divisive figure in the house and would spark strong feelings in viewers.

He said: "I would want to go on 'Big Brother' – not the celebrity one but the civilian one and just be me. I’ve got this theory that I would either be really hated or really loved, no middle ground but I’d miss my dogs so bad though, forget my family I’d miss my dogs man."

The 29-year-old musician also expressed his interest in being a judge on 'The X Factor' when he eventually gives up his recording career.

Speaking to Fleur East on 'The Hits Radio Breakfast Show', he said: "If I had to go on a reality show I would want to be a judge on The X Factor. I did it one year, I joined Nicole [Scherzinger] and that was amazing. I had a great time! I want to do that when I hang up my mike."

Fleur is currently competing on 'Strictly Come Dancing and after she and her professional partner Vito Coppola found themselves in the bottom two last weekend, he urged people to go out and vote for the 'Sax' hitmaker.

He said: "Are you on 'Strictly'? I know 'Strictly' is like the biggest [reality show], it’s the king of all of them. I’m going to watch 'Strictly' now, I’m going to tune in, and if you’re listening come on man, you got her in the bottom two you need to vote on Saturday night, it’s not nice to have her in the bottom two!"
