Shawn Levy, who serves as producer on Stranger Things and who is known for some brilliant films is now working on a new horror television series for The CW. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he and his production company are in the midst of developing a thriller for the network, which is currently best-known for their DC television shows and Riverdale, as well as the likes of Supernatural and the now-finished Smallville and Gossip Girl.

The show, titled Epiphany will focus on “a group of gifted strangers recruited to a Gilded Age mansion to solve a complex code that lies within the structure’s walls.”
Spenser Cohan will write the script for the series, along with his producing partner Anna Halberg. Lee Toland is set to direct the pilot episode if it makes it to the next stage of development, and also serves as producer.
Exactly how the series will be structured, as well as more details on the plot and what viewers should expect if it makes it to broadcast hasn’t yet been given, but it’s certainly one that’s worth keeping your eyes on. With Levy on the team, there’s a huge chance this could be another mega-hit, and we really hope we get to find out what the team are cooking up.
