Teletubbies is coming to Netflix

The iconic BBC children's TV series - which first ran from 1997 until 2001 before a revival between 2015 and 2018 - features colourful characters Tinky-Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po - will be back in November with a new narrator joining the fun.

In a tweet alongside the poster for the show, Netflix revealed: "Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po are back!

"The Teletubbies - and new narrator Tituss Burgess - are coming to Netflix on November 14th!"

The poster reveals a new baby playing The Sun in the revival, while casting details are yet to be announced for the baby or the famous quartet.

Not surprisingly, fans were delighted by the news and they're looking forward to plenty of nostalgia.

One person wrote: "I grew up with The Teletubbies. I love them."

Another added: My childhood is back we WON."

And a third fan tweeted: "I will watch anything with Tituss in it!"

Best known for his role as Titus Andromedon in Netflix comedy 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt', American Broadway star Titus also lends his voice to animated series 'Central Park', which features the likes of Leslie Odom Jr, Daveed Diggs, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, Kathryn Hahn, Stanley Tucci and Emmy Raver-Lampman.

The Teletubbies themselves have still stayed in the spotlight even when their show has been off air, and earlier this year they appeared on 'Britain's Got Talent' as part of their 25th anniversary.

The quartet danced along to the likes of 'Single Ladies' by Beyonce, ABBA's classic 'Gimme Gimme Gimme', One Direction hit 'Best Song Ever' and their own jam 'Let's Do The Tubby'.

It meant they also had a special reunion with 'BGT' boss Simon Cowell, who made the Teletubbies one of his first signings in 1997 for their chart topping single 'Teletubbies Say Eh-oh!'.
