The Great British Bake Off moves this year to BBC One, but will receive for the first time a spin-off show titled The Great British Bake Off - An Extra Slice.

The episodes will be shown after the main show and are to feature a similar format to that of The Apprentice: You're Fired with a panel of celebrities looking back on the most recent episode alongside the contestant who was voted out of the competition in that week.

Unseen footage will also be broadcast, and audience members will be encouraged to bring in their own baking attempts from home.

Piloted by BBC Two next week at ITV's London Studios ahead of a full summer series, fans can rest easy in the knowledge that though the main show is moving channels, the show will remain the same.
