The Wanted insist their reality TV show will be the "best" programme ever.

The 'I Found You' hitmakers - made up of Max George, Nathan Sykes, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker and Jay McGuinness - refused to be drawn into comparisons between their programme 'The Wanted Life' and rival boy band One Direction's 3D movie 'This is Us', but are confident their show will be a success.

Speaking at the Capital FM Summertime Ball at London's Wembley Stadium yesterday (09.06.13) - where Nathan performed with the group for the first time in weeks after undergoing career-saving throat surgery - Jay told BANG Showbiz: "I don't think you can compare movies and TV shows but I think our TV show will be the best TV show ever.

"Theirs could be the best movie ever though I guess."

Following Nathan's return to the group, the 20-year-old singer admits he will miss watching daytime TV shows, so he would love to have a picture of 52-year-old presenter Carol Vorderman at the end of his bed, while Jay would rather have a poster of all the panellists on the talk show.

When asked who he would like to have a picture of at the end of his bed, Nathan replied: "I would definitely have Carol Vorderman."

Jay added: "Ooh yeah, Carol is a good shout. I think I would have all of the 'Loose Women' looking at me, that would be a great sight."
