Jodie Marsh recalls 'vile' This Morning interview

The 44-year-old ex-glamour model was appearing on the ITV Daytime show in 2016 to discuss her decision to freeze her eggs in the hopes of having children in the future but has now said that Phillip - who stepped down from his hosting role after 20 years amid rumours of a feud with co-host Holly Willoughby and shortly after admitted that he had had an extramarital affair with a younger male colleague - turned the whole interview into being about her sex life as she branded the TV pair as "vile and rude."

Speaking on 'The Independent Republic of Mike Graham' on TalkTV, she said: "I was tweeting about this years ago, I mean - years ago, saying that there was something wrong and I got abuse for it. Everybody seemed to think because I was on there one time with lipstick on my teeth and Phil and Holly didn't tell me I had lipstick on my teeth. So they let me do the whole interview looking stupid, basically. Now everybody thinks that my grudge with them is because of lipstick gate, it's because both of them are vile and rude. Both of them, Holly included.

"So the last time I was on 'This Morning', I was on to talk about freezing my eggs as an older woman who was single - I am still single - if I wanted to have a child, obviously I don't have a partner. It's a very serious and emotional topic and Phil spent the whole interview grilling me my exes and sex, to talk about all the different sex I'd had and how many people I'd slept with. All sorts of nasty stuff about sex and it was just vile. I came off wanting to cry and be sick. I'd gone on there to talk about freezing my eggs and he belittled the whole thing and made the whole interview really crude."

The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' star - who has now stepped away from showbusiness and runs Fritz Farm Animal Sanctuary in Essex - went on to claim that she was treated as if she was "nothing" on the set of the show and used to "hate" going on it.

"What I've also seen over the years, and I have been on the show many, times, is that neither Holly or Phil are nice at all to you unless you can do something for them. So unless you're bigger than they are, like a Hollywood A-list star, they won't be nice to you. You don't see them until you're sitting on the sofa and if you do happen to pass them in the hallway, then they won't even say hello to you. They treat you like you're nothing.

"I used to hate going on 'This Morning'. I did it at the time because I was promoting various things . I used to get probably £500 a time but certainly not in cash. It was to promote whatever I was doing but a couple of times they had me on as sort of like a roving reporter to talk about news events and my agent at the time said it was a really good thing but nobody spoke to me before, nobody spoke to me afterwards."
