The former 'X Factor' judge - who helped guide Little Mix to victory in 2011 - is said to have reached a new deal with Channel 4 to appear on the reality show alongside cousins and N-Dubz bandmates Dappy and Fazer.

An insider told The Sun newspaper's TVBiz column: "'Gogglebox' bosses are always looking for new stars to sign up and after N-Dubz made their comeback last year it seemed like a no brainer.

"All three of them don't hold back when it comes to their opinions so mix that with the fact they are all related it's the perfect new dynamic for the show."

The trio are set to drop their latest album 'Timeless' - their first new collection in 13 years - in August, and they will start shooting 'Gogglebox' imminently.

They're joining an all-star cast, with regulars including Denise Van Outen and Duncan James, as well as Rylan Clark and his mum Linda.

'Loose Women' legend Jane McDonald has also signed up to appear on the new series with her best friend Sue.

Revealing the news last week, she tweeted: "I'm going to be appearing on 'Celebrity Gogglebox' with my best friend Sue - it's going to be an absolute blast!

"We’ve shared some unforgettable moments over the years but I am really looking forward to spending time together on this wonderful show."

Singer Tom Grennan has also confirmed he will be joining in the fun from his sofa, and he has predicted his dad will become "a national treasure" once the episodes start airing.

He recently said: "I’ve said to him to be ready to become a national treasure. We’ve always been fans of the show and are both buzzing to be part of it."

The new series of 'Celebrity Gogglebox' starts on Friday (16.06.23) at 10pm on Channel 4.
