Former 'Hollyoaks' star Will Mellor is ready to test himself on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' even though he fears the eating trials.

The 44-year-old actor has had numerous offers for reality shows but the only one he is seriously interested in is ITV's jungle challenge because it is the biggest and best one on television.

However, Will winces at the thought of having to munch on a kangaroo's penis in front of presenters Ant and Dec.

Speaking about the chances of him doing reality TV on the Two Pints with Will and Ralf podcast, he said: "I’d do the biggest one which is 'I’m A Celebrity…' because it’s the show to do, if you’re going to do any of them that’s the one I suppose. Apart from the fact I couldn’t eat no kangaroo d***. Not specifically just kangaroo, most d***s I’m not a fan of.

“If you’re gonna do something, you might as well be on the biggest one that pays the most because after it you don’t know what’s going to happen. The whole point of doing these shows is getting back on the telly. It’s been a s*** year and that’s why I’ve got a crocodile’s d***in my mouth, be honest!”

Will, like the rest of the UK, has been watching 'The Masked Singer' on ITV on Saturday nights with his wife Michelle and their two children.

However, he's not sure he'd like to don a costume and show the nation his singing talents because ultimately the programme - which features a panel comprised of Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Jonathan Ross - is pointless.

Will - who released two pop singles in the late 90s on the back of his fame when he played Jambo in 'Hollyoaks' - said: "I’ve thought about 'The Masked Singer'. I watch it and part of it I don’t get, like who gives a s**t? I’m a bit like, 'What’s the point of the panel?' They come out with so much s**t, ‘I think it’s Tom Hanks.’ Yeah, Tom Hanks is going to come over here and be dressed as a f***ing badger singing 'Mustang Sally', it’s not going to happen. But my kids like it."
