The sports entertainment giant has confirmed its first ever UK series will be coming to the WWE Network next week and airing every Wednesday at 8pm.

The new weekly one-hour programme will feature the likes of WWE United Kingdom champion Pete Dunne and his British Strong Style teammates Tyler Bate and Trent Seven alongside the likes of Toni Storm, Mark Andrews and Wolfgang.

While Nigel McGuinness and Vic Joseph will pair up as the commentary team, 'Blue Peter' and 'Cannonball' presenter Radzi Chinyanganya will be joining them as a backstage interviewer.

Andy shepherd will handle ring announcing duties, while the general manager will be British wrestling legend Johnny Saint.

Commenting on the upcoming launch, Paul 'Triple H' Levesque - WWE Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative - spoke of the company's pride in a UK-based show.

He said: "'NXT UK' is the next step in our global localization strategy, and we are proud to do this in a place where WWE has had a special relationship for more than 30 years."

It's Wednesday time slot means 'NXT UK' joins a stellar lineup on the WWE Network on the same night the company airs 'NXT', '205 Live' and the 'Mae Young Classic' tournament.

Meanwhile, the brand will be holding live events for 'NXT UK' in Plymouth on October 13 and 14 at the Pavilions, and at the Liverpool Olympia on November 24 and 25.

Tickets for these events are available via www.livenation.co.uk. Further information is available at www.wwe.com/events.
