The 39-year-old has presented the Channel 5 programme since 2013, and is looking forward to the next series premiering in the New Year (05.01.16).

While the celebrities on the programme are so far being kept tightly under wraps, Emma is looking forward to seeing some of the famous faces clash.

She said: "They are so fantastic at getting the right types of people. There are a couple in there that I was so excited about, purely because of my own love of them in the past.

"Aside from people you may have loved in the past, there are just some great characters who I think will give TV gold."

The last series of the programme saw 'The Apprentice' heartthrob James Hill claim victory, with other housemates including singer Fatman Scoop and adult movie star Jenna Jameson.

Next year, 'The Only Way is Essex' star Gemma Collins is tipped to make an entrance into the world famous house, alongside wrestler Hulk Hogan and Strictly Come Dancing professional Ola Jordan.

As ever, show bosses have a few tricks up their sleeves and will be doing everything in their power to ensure some explosive rows, which always lead to high ratings.

She added of the Jack the Ripper theme in the garden: "There's always going to be a sinister side to any Big Brother theme and I'm sure there was a sinister side to Vaudeville.

"And there will be a big explosion on launch night which will set the cat among the pigeons!"
