Lucy Mecklenburgh could be about to land her own reality show.

The former 'The Only Way is Essex' star - who quit the show after last year's Christmas special - is expected to front a new ITV2 show which will follow her efforts to help people lose weight using her BootyCamp training regime.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Lucy is a great motivator for real women and producers think there's great scope to film a fly-on-the-wall documentary that charts the progress of fat-fighters at BootyCamp."

The 22-year-old beauty quit 'TOWIE' last year in the aftermath of her on/off relationship with lothario Mario Falcone.

She said recently: "Breaking up with someone on TV was really tough. People forget I started on 'TOWIE' when I was 19 and still living at home. I loved being on the show and don't regret it, but it was tough living my life in public."

Following her split from Mario, Lucy enjoyed brief flings with Tom Pearce and Dan Osborne but insists she is happy being single.

She revealed: "I'm in such a good place in my life and feel mentally strong, so I'm looking forward to the possibility of falling in love again. But I'm not in a rush to have a boyfriend for the sake of it."
