The 'Body On Me' hitmaker turned her back on BBC One singing show two years ago after she was swiped by Simon Cowell to join his rival programme as a judge and, although she's yet to make her mind up about which gig she wants to return to this year, she's thrilled she's caused a bidding war.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, she said: "I hope they keep fighting over me. I don't mind that at all. I don't know what is going on but I like it. I haven't made a decision [on what show I'll return to]. I've been focusing on recording my new album. I haven't started discussions [with my team] over anything."

The 25-year-old singer, who helped Louisa Johnson swipe the winner's crown last year, has sparked speculation she's decided not to return to 'The X Factor' when the new series hits screens later this year after her arrival on the panel coincided with the plunging ratings and heavy criticism.

An insider said: "'The X Factor' ratings were dismal last year so it is no surprise Rita is keen to walk away. A return to 'The Voice' is possible because she loved being a coach last time."

Meanwhile, 'The Voice', which has been aired on BBC for the last four years, will return to screens next year on ITV after it was poached in a deal worth an estimated £33 million.
