Caroline Flack is "even more excited" for 'The X Factor' after Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw were confirmed as judges.

The 'Love Island' presenter - who will co-present the ITV singing contest with 'Troublemaker' singer Olly Murs - is glad music mogul Simon Cowell has changed the competition around as she thinks it will make for a better show.

Speaking on 'This Morning', she said: "Change will make it really interesting again. I'm even more excited now!

"I think it's absolutely brilliant. I think it's young, fresh, relevant, and I think [this] one big change will make it really interesting again."

The 35-year-old host only had good things to say about the latest additions to the judging panel, praising Nick for his musical knowledge, and Rita for being a star in her own right.

She gushed: "He knows what's going on in music at the minute more than anyone else.

"He knows what sells, he knows what gets radio play and I think he's also go a great sense of humour... I think he's going to be brilliant.

"Rita is one of the biggest selling artists, she's lovely, she's been on the show before, she knows it and she loves it which is great."

Simon Cowell, 55, has also shown his excitement about the show's revamp and new panel, stating he is "really happy" in a series of messages on Twitter.

He wrote: "The best kept secret in TV is out!! But I am really happy with the new judging line up for XFactor this year. Its going to be a lot of fun

"We met a lot of people. I really believe everyone on the show this year is excited about finding someone who has star potential.

"We have always had great judges. And I will always be thankful for their passion and expertise.

"I have know idea what the show will look like but I feel both excited and nervous. It's going to be very different! Embrace the madness..
