The 56-year-old music mogul and show boss has seen all of his contestants in the Overs category voted off the show in recent weeks, and host Olly - who was runner up in 2009 - is enjoying being able to poke fun at his boss live on air.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards, the 'Kiss Me' singer confessed: "This weekend I thought the contestants were fantastic, it was a really good show. It was nice to have Simon as an impartial judge, so he was a little bit more critical which was interesting. Also, for me, it was nice to sort of take the p**s out of him a little bit. Because he's got no acts left!"

The 31-year-old star admitted he'll be careful not to take the jokes too far, however, as he doesn't want to lose his job.

He added: "I'm a bit more respectful because obviously I want to keep my job for next year, [but] to be honest with you I've always been very cheeky and Simon knows that. We had a bit of a laugh on the weekend and I will continue to make a point every week that, 'You have no acts left in the competition', just to wind him up a bit more because I know that deep down Simon really wanted someone in the final so it was a shame."
