Carla (Alison King) tells Leanne (Jane Danson) she has set up a meeting for them with a financial advisor, then phones Frank Taylor (Robert Whelan) and arranges a drink with him.Later in the Rovers, Carla is sitting with Frank having a drink. Leanne is horrified when she walks in with Liam (Rob James-Collier) to see them both sat together, knowing she has been set up.Frank realises he's been had too and leaves. Liam is oblivious to what is going on while Leanne is a nervous wreck. Carla leaves too but insists on a catch up with Leanne.At Leanne's flat, Leanne desperately begs Carla not to tell Liam about her escorting because she loves him. Carla is furious but will she tell Liam?Tired of constant speculation about the fire, Claire and Ashley decide to take the boys away for a while. Ashley (Steven Arnold) worries about the trip as he still hasn't got anyone to cover the shop. Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) suggests Kirk (Andrew Whyment) could work in the butcher's.Does Ashley fancy giving Kirk the opportunity?Elsewhere, Violet (Jenny Platt) goes on a date with Tam (Will Norris). Both are having a great night and head back to his house. Passions are rising when suddenly Violet gets cold feet, makes her excuses and leaves, to which Tam is very much surprised.
Out on the street alone she begins to panic and calls Jamie (Rupert Hill) to pick her up. But what made her change her mind about Tam?
