It is thought his role on the show will only be short-term because of McBusted's extensive touring plans.
Commenting on his addition the show a few weeks ago, Matt said that "Luke gives as good as he gets", but it's a "pity she's (Stacey) been lying to him since the day she met him."
Stacey Slater was noticed in London by Kat in last night's episode of Eastenders. The soap continues tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One and BBC One HD.
