It’s all getting a bit Romeo and Juliet chez Ric. “I could lie here for the rest of my life and be completely happy,” Matilda moans. They’re both incredibly pleased with the evening’s events but well aware that they could be sprung at any time. Ric sets his alarm for 5am so Mattie has time to sneak home before Tony gets up. Things are slightly less x-rated downstairs, where Sally’s sharing her Martha moans with Brad. How’s that for foreplay? There’s an awkward moment in the hallway when Ric slips out to get some food for Mattie; Sal bluffs him away while Brad dives under the table. Smooth. Where did you sleep last night? The last thing Tony needs is another errant female on his hands, but it looks like he’s got one. Bright and early the next morning he’s got a steaming breakfast on the table but young Matilda’s nowhere to be seen. That’s because she slept though Ric’s 5am alarm…oops. Mattie flings on her clothes and wriggles out of the window, while Sally frantically ushers Brad towards the back door. The door opens to reveal an angry Tony and a guilty-looking Matilda.Busted! A meeting ensues in which Sal scolds Ric for not discussing his nocturnal needs with her. Not that she discussed hers with him. But that’s different because Sal’s an adult. Which doesn’t explain why she was sneaking her own boyfriend out. Mattie clears her throat for a little speech. “Just because we’re young doesn’t mean we love each other less than you guys,” she says sweetly. Tony caves and they all reach a happy agreement. Ric’s staying well out of Tony’s way, though.Belle and the beastBelle’s got a smashing day ahead of her - Amanda’s wedding fittings. She does her best to sidestep Kelli, who she knows is dodgy as hell despite her attempts to smooth things over. She notices Kelli slipping an envelope into her bag, and resolves to find out what’s going on. As Kelli flounces off to try on her bridesmaids dress with a flurry of self-deprecating comments about her single status, Amanda fills her in on the car accident and all that followed. Belle’s stunned, but she’s noticing all sorts of flaws in the story. She notices a letter popping out of Kelli’s bag and can’t resist a peek. “Call me, Babe. I miss you like crazy. Love me,” it reads. Curiouser and curiouser. Belle confronts Kelli about it later on, in front of everyone, and Kelli makes up a garbled story about being engaged once, briefly; he left her, she was devastated and doesn’t want to talk about it.

Kelli slips off to call Ethan. Thunder rumbles in the distance; trouble’s a-brewing. “If Belle’s going to be a problem I might just have to do something about her…”
