They say the camera never lies, so Peter’s not sticking around for explanations. Mandy scurries after him before collapsing on the grass, a mess of tears and taffeta. Everyone warned him this hussy would be nowt but trouble, but he fell for her sugarplum act. “Stay the hell away from me,” he growls down at his hysterical wife. Dan’s itching to punch Ethan’s gloating face but the girls hold him back; Kelli slaps him for show, fighting back her satisfied smile. Drew’s livid when he realises Belle knew about Amanda’s infidelity all along. In fact, he’s mouthing off about it when Peter approaches quietly. Hearing that people knew about it adds insult to injury. Drew storms round to Amanda’s house where he rips in to the sobbing bride for cheating on his Dad – and then dumps Belle for lying to him. Amanda tries desperately to explain things to Peter – she doesn’t remember a thing about that awful night – but he’s having none of it. She kept a nasty secret to herself, and it’s over. He plonks his wedding ring in the sea, while Kelli and Ethan share a celebratory smooch. “Amanda’s got a lot further to fall before I’m done with her,” the evil sister cackles.Kit For CatMeanwhile, the tension is mounting in Summer Bay’s favourite threesome. Kim is reeling at the news that Kit doesn’t want him present at the birth of their baby – she only wants James. James tries to smooth things over, but Kit can barely see him for the monstrous chip on his shoulder. “She’s carrying my child so just stay out of it!” he snaps. Kit’s not best pleased with James for interfering, either. All antsy from the stress, James fondles a big old bag of weed and decides to have a very naughty last ever (cough) spliff. Heart AttackKit comes home to find a verrrry chilled out James mooching around the house. He claims he’s just really tired. We suspect Kit was born yesterday.

When Rachel rings, begging James to help cover a crazy shift, he can’t say no – how the hell is he going to pull this one off? He’s completely spazzed out. Rachel piles the work on him at the hospital. Suddenly, alarm bells ring; a patient has gone into cardiac arrest. James fumbles and sweats his way through CPR and, as if by magic, saves the patient’s life. What are the chances? He’s still pretty rattled, knowing it was a close call, but he heads home a hero.

Shortly afterwards, Rachel makes a shocking discovery. The patient only went into cardiac arrest because she was issued the wrong kind of insulin. And you’ll never guess who gave it to her!
