"Did you sleep with Miss Preston?" asks Mattie, in wide-eyed horror. "What about Mum?" Well, yes, we assume Tony slept with her too. However, as she's been dead a month, and because Tony can hardly start getting jiggy with an urn, he ended up looking elsewhere in his hour of need. But let's not chart the man's entire sexual history. The news of Tony's liaison has widened the rift in the family, and Ric cops extra flack from Mattie for keeping his dirty little secret safe. That afternoon, Lucas decides to have another pop at his dad - but this time Tony's not so willing to take it. "You're the one who brought this all out into the open," he snipes, "so now we have to deal with it." As you can imagine, this goes down like Sister Assumpta in a strip club. Dream onIf you ever suffer from hysterical visions while visiting Summer Bay then you could do a lot worse than speak to Alf about them. Alf, you may recall, once lost so many of his marbles that he believed his nettle-throated wife Ailsa had come back from the dead to start pushing people down the stairs. What Kim saw when his life flashed before his eyes wasn't quite so amusing/terrifying (delete as appropriate) but it's still got him rattled. "It wasn't my whole life I saw", he admits. "I didn't see Rachel. Not once. She's the most important person in the world to me, and I didn't see her." However, Alf doesn't think it's anything to worry about. "I think you might be trying to read too much into this", he smiles.

"Just be grateful you're alive to see anyone." Kim later tries to raise the matter with Kit, but she's far too preoccupied with her own problems to worry about his.

Party on Five

Down on the beach, there's a huge turn-out for Drew's birthday party - but he and Jules are only interested in two people turning up. Belle and Cassie eventually arrive, but they seem to be under the impression that it's a fancy dress party as they've come as a cruise liner magician's assistant and a nu-rave Björn Borg.

Over the course of the evening, Cassie slowly thaws towards Jules while Drew and Belle get flirty by the bonfire. However, as soon as Belle's back is turned, Drew cops off with some random skank and blows his chances. Matilda, meanwhile, has been knocking back the grog and it's left to Belle to take care of her.

They're sprung by Alf and Dan at the diner, who dash down to the beach to extinguish the celebrations. In the process, Alf discovers Jules snogging Cassie - while Tony finds Lucas smashed out of his face and unconscious. Will he end up with more than a hangover?
