Miranda & Steve are devastated by Rileys belief that they never loved him. Despite airing their side of the story and begging him to stay, Riley prepares to leave regardless. But when his car fails to start, Riley looks for solace at Charlies and finds it in the form of Elle Robinson. Sharing their problems, Elle suggests that maybe he should cut his parents some slack and give them another chance. Miranda and Steve are startled and delighted when Riley takes Elles advice on board and returns home. The three of them agree to try and make it work.Neds gutted that Mickey wants to return to Adelaide with his Mum, oblivious to the fact that Kirsten has manipulated Mickey into his decision. Promising Mickey a final day of fun in Erinsborough, Ned and Janae take Mickey to his last footy match where Mickey scored the winning goal. As Mickey prepares to leave, Ned becomes tearful and Mickey lets slip to Janae that Kirsten talked him into leaving. Furious, Ned and Janae confront Kirsten and the battle lines are drawn Ned will fight for custody of his son. No more Mr Nice Guy.
