Danny Dyer has gone off geese after working with a "very aggressive and flappy" goose in 'EastEnders'.

The 38-year-old star, who plays Queen Vic pub landlord Mick Carter in the BBC One soap, found it tough to work with the festive bird because it was so mischievous on set.

He said: "I used to be a massive fan of geese, but I've gone off them.

"It was a lovely little thing, but very aggressive and too flappy.

"It loved flapping its wings and didn't behave itself whatsoever.

"It was quite difficult, I ain't gonna lie."

Aunt Babe - who is played by Annette Badland - brings the goose into the pub to fatten it up for Christmas lunch.

But Danny admitted he hasn't got a personal grudge against the goose - he's never had a penchant for birds.

He told InsideSoap magazine: "I've never been a big fan of birds anyway, to be honest.

"I can't stand pigeons and now you can add geese to the list, too."
