With the help of six thrill-seeking explorers, children aged between 8 and 11 were invited to enter a special competition and star in the series along with Backshall - the final two episodes of which you can see below.

Episode four sees the adventurers go treasure hunting, as Steve hides three mystery hampers and challenges the group to use their new skills in map reading to find them. Top tips for surviving in the wild can be discovered with just a map and compass.

Our final episode sees Steve sharing three unique methods for catching bugs and creepy crawlies of all shapes and sizes, with viewers learning how to bag themselves butterflies using nets, how to use a pooter and just exactly how to perform the ultimate 'bush whack'.
