Katie Melua and James Toseland

Katie Melua and James Toseland

The pair married on Saturday at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, west London, after being engaged since the beginning the year. Both the groom and bride looked amazing so here are some items to emulate the look.

Katie was wearing a stunning dress by designer Claire Pettibone. The off-white dress was decorated with an array of beads and beautiful embroidery. This similar one from Catherine Deane is great for any bride who wishes to cover up but still look feminine and pretty. The V neck and back give it a lovely modern twist and the lace arms create elegance.

Your hair should never neglect your hair on your wedding day, and Katie Melua made sure hers was glossy and in fabulous curls. To give your hair a boost and get the loose bouncy curls like Katie then get your hands on these Lee Stafford rollers. They’ll volumise your hair beautifully and there’s no need for clips to secure them in place so you’ll be keeping your hair healthy too!

Katie wore a gorgeous headband, rather like Natalie Portman did for her wedding a few weeks ago, but if you’re looking for something a little less floral and a little more extravagant then this Enchanted Atelier barrette is the one for you. Not only is it incredibly dazzling with its Swarovski crystal blossoms but it’s also flexible and be can worn in a number of ways. Beautiful and practical, win/win!

The last thing you want is to lose your footing and end up stumbling down the aisle on your wedding day, so sense yet divine shoes are a must. These peep toe ones are great as the heel isn’t sky scraper and it keeps within the feminine and delicate theme created by the dress and barrette.

Katie kept her bouquet simple, with delicate white flowers and some greenery to break it up. You can do the same with this orchid and rose bouquet. They fit right in with the theme and they are petite so wont draw focus from your delightful dress and beautiful face.
