A terminally ill girl has asked people to send her letters from their dogs.

Emma Mertens, seven, is battling against a rare and inoperable brain tumor called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), and her family had set up a GoFundMe page to help with the cost of her medical bills.
While it has already exceeded its $50,000 goal with over $81,000 raised to help the young girl, people all over the world have also stepped up to grant her request of snaps and words of encouragement fro their pet pooches.
One adorale message read: ''Hi Emma! My name is Pickerel, but you can call me Pick! I'm a dog named after a fish and I love to go swimming and camping in the summer and roll around in the snow in the winter.
''I'm thinking of you and your family and sending you the biggest puppy kisses! Oh, and a high five too (I know how to do that!)''
