Sean Avery cleared from arrest
Sean Avery is reportedly in the clear after he was arrested over allegation he attacked a policeman.
The US ice hockey star - ex-boyfriend of actress Elisha Cuthbert - was held by police earlier this month after a dispute with officials who arrived at his home in the Hollywood Hills after a neighbour complained about the noise.
It was alleged the New York Rangers ace pushed one of the pfficers during a confrontation, but according to TMZ.com it has now been decided he will not face any charges.
A source tells the website: "No criminal charges of any kind will be filed against Sean Avery stemming from his Augus 5 arrest for battery on a police officer."
