The 'Trainwreck' actress decided to take a trip on the watercraft with her 'The Hunger Games' pal while on holiday in the Hamptons, east of New York, and said she was terrified when Jennifer took control as she was such a wild driver.

She recalled: "I drove first, so I was like, hang on! I drive like a mom who rented a convertible, you know, and I'm like, 'Woo!' and then she goes, 'Oh, can I drive before we go back?' and I'm like, 'Sure'. She just 'Hunger Games' flew! She grew up doing it so she's doing doughnuts, using her own wake. So I was screaming and I was sure I was going to die. I was like, well, at least I know how I'm going to die, and it'll say, 'Jennifer Lawrence and one other died today' and that's fine."

The 34-year-old comedian explained Jennifer only ended up joining the trip by chance though, as she was in New York while Amy was on vacation with her school pals, who were star-struck when they met her.

Speaking on UK station BBC Radio 1, she told Scott Mills: "I go away with my girlfriends from high school every summer so that they'll still like me, they make me spend a lot of money on them. So we go away and we went to the Hamptons.

"Jennifer and I have become friends and so she was like, 'Hey I'm gonna be in New York tomorrow,' and I was like, 'Well why don't you come here, we're going on a boat!' and she was like, 'OK!' So she came and my friends from high school were freaking out, but they played it really cool except for my friend Jess, Jess was like, 'Jennifer, I think I should be allowed to go to 'The Hunger Games' premiere.'

"It was so humiliating."
