The 43-year-old star feels grateful to have worked alongside the singer on 'A Star Is Born' and he thinks she is an "incredible" person, who he will be friends with for the whole of his life.

He said: "I made a friend for life. As great as this movie was the thing that I think I'll take away forever is the relationship I have with her because she is an incredible person. I'm very lucky to have worked with her."

And Bradley doesn't think he would turn to singing as a career but is planning to record a song he wrote on set.

He added to People magazine: "I don't even know how I would sing because I'm singing through him. He was a complete character. That said, there was one song that I wrote, called 'Too Far Gone' that I had the idea for a verse and a bridge, so I'm going to go to the recording studio and finish it. So I don't know what the answer is."

Meanwhile, Bradley previously admitted directing 'A Star is Born' was a "very cathartic" experience.

He said: "Anytime you're trying to tell the truth you need to go to places and use things that have happened to you, or you've read about or experienced. And that's all part of the beauty of turning whatever things you've gone through into a story. I find that to be very cathartic. I remember learning that in grad school, our teacher said all the insecurities, all the dark stuff you get to use that and that's really the truth."
