The 32-year-old model was horrified when her pet pooch Monty was attacked in Primrose Hill, London, by a white male who fled the scene, leaving the dog with a broken knee, bruising and suspected internal bleeding.

She said: "He kicked my dog in the stomach, who went flying. I really wish I had caught that horrible man.

"Monty is badly bruised and still finding walking difficult. But we think that with a lot of rest, cuddles and some food, he’ll be OK."

A friend of Daisy's told the Daily Mail's Eden Confidential column: "Daisy is frightened to head back to the park. She’s still nervous and worried that another incident might happen as the attacker is still out there. She was very shaken by it as Monty means the world to her."

Daisy later took to Instagram to share an update on Monty, writing: "Love from me & my happily healing Monty... thank you ever so much for all your gorgeous messages & well wishes."

Meanwhile, back in January, Daisy opened up about a troubling incident, when a famous photographer exposed himself to her.

The model was just 18 or 19-years-old when the man exposed himself during a photoshoot and she admitted it left her feeling so uncomfortable and she never worked with him again.

Recalling what happened, she said: "I once shot with a really successful photographer at his house and his wife was making us dinner downstairs. We ended up shooting on his bed – which was compromising enough. And he was stood over me, I laid down and he was sort of straddling me and he had his fly down and nothing on underneath. I was only 18 or 19 and my thought process was, ‘Oh f***, what am I going to do?’ I’ve always been incredibly mouthy and that’s probably really helped me get out of really sticky situations. So, I just went, 'You’re flying low.' To which he turned stone cold, got off me, zipped up his flies, walked out and that was the end of the shoot. And I have never worked with him again."
