The 48-year-old presenter never shies away when it comes to discussing the bedroom and still insists intercourse keeps her romance "alive" despite being criticised for saying women should keep their men "satisfied" no matter what.

She said: "I think it's [sex] a really important part of a relationship, to keep that alive. Matthew and I feel we've got to keep the physical aspect going - otherwise it's friendship, isn't it?

The brunette beauty - who is currently presenting TV's 'The Jump' - also admitted that she doesn't like it when they don't have fun in bed because she misses it and feels "sad" as it makes her feel distant from Matthew when they don't have time to make love.

She told the Daily Mail newspaper: "I can only speak from my experience but if you haven't had sex for a while, after having babies or whatever, you miss it. I miss it and I feel a bit sad when we aren't close in that way. It kind of brings us together again, like a team."
