Selena Gomez and Union J's George Shelley have arranged to go on a date next month.
Selena 22, has been in an on/off relationship with Justin Bieber will meet up with George Shelley when the hitmakers support her when she plays in Lisbon, Portugal, on September 11.
George - who has his driving test on the same day he flies to Lisbon for the gig - said: "I will try to call Selena beforehand so it's not too awkward when we meet.
"My perfect date would be to go the beach at night. We could have a little bonfire."
The pair's arrangement comes shortly after Selena left the former 'X Factor' contestant a "cute" video message asking him to get in touch the next time she comes to London - and George was so shocked by the clip, he thought it was somebody impersonating her.
George Shelley told Britains Daily Mirror newspaper: "Selena's one of those massive celebrities who doesn't even know you exist, so I was gob-smacked.
"I thought it was a lookalike at first. I could feel my cheeks going red and the lads laughed at me."
George was recently romantically linked to Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson after the pair were spotted embracing at the Virgin Media V Festival Louder Lounge at Hylands Park, Essex, south east England, earlier this month.
A source told Female First: "Jesy and George looked so good together.
"They were hand in hand in the festival arena and he had his arm lovingly draped around her for their walk back to the Louder Lounge.
"They make such a cute couple."
But George has since insisted he and Jesy are just good friends.
