Selena Gomez is an American singer and actress famously known for playing the role of Alex Russo on the Disney channel TV show Wizards of Waverly Place.
She also signed to a Disney record label and started her own band Selena Gomez & the Scene and they produced three successful albums. Gomez made her film debut in the film Ramona and Beezus in 2010 and then she starred in another hit film Monte Carlo.
In 2012 she played the role of Faith in the American drama Spring Breakers and in April of this year she has released her first single Come and Get it off her fourth solo album Stars Dance which is due to be released in summer 2013.
Gomez has found some success with Spring Breakers this year and Behaving Badly is in the pipeline for the actress.
Away from film Gomez has also been praised for her philanthropic work and is an ambassador for the charity UNICEF.
